Twitter reengineered its search engine so it would value the “influence” of its users to better organize search results—to automatically bring up what Brian Williams and Wolf Blitzer said about Libya as opposed to what somebody’s crackpot uncle or Richard Simmons said.
Two things:
1) “Somebody’s crackpot uncle” is a pretty apt description of Wolf Blitzer.
2) On most things, I’d rather hear what Richard Simmons has to say than more of Wolf’s bloviating.
